Official Rules and Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The “William Shatner 95th Birthday VIP Experience” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by FUTURE of SPACE (“Sponsor”).
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
1. Sponsor
The Contest is sponsored and administered by:

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform used to promote it.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to:
- Legal residents of the United States
- 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) of FUTURE of SPACE, its affiliates, partners, promotional agencies, or any entity involved in the administration of the Contest are not eligible to participate.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on March 10, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM PT on May 1, 2026 (“Contest Period”).
Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Contest.
4. How to Enter
To enter the Contest, participants must:
- Visit the official contest page: www.shatner95thbirthday.com
- Submit a birthday message or wish to William Shatner through the official entry form.
- Provide the required information, which includes
- Full name
- Email address
- City and State of residence
- Birthday message submission
Limit one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period.
Duplicate entries or attempts to submit multiple entries using different identities, email addresses, or automated methods may result in disqualification.
Entries must comply with all applicable laws and must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content.
5. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The drawing will take place on or about May 2, 2026.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. Prize Description
One (1) winner will receive the following prize package:
VIP Experience for “The Universe is Absurd!” Live Event in Los Angeles
The prize includes:
- One (1) ticket to either the Man 19 or May 20 performance of The Universe Is Absurd! at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles
- A professional photo opportunity with both Featured Guests
- A dual-signed commemorative poster
- A unique VIP gift
- A $600 flight gift card to be applied to air travel *
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $2,500 – $5,000 USD, depending on travel costs.
7. Travel Conditions
* Airfare included in the prize is limited to a maximum value of six hundred U.S. dollars ($600) total for round-trip economy airfare within the United States.
If the total airfare cost exceeds $600, the winner will be responsible for paying the difference.
If the winner resides within reasonable driving distance of Los Angeles or elects not to use the airfare portion of the prize, the airfare component will not be substituted, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any other compensation.
Additional travel conditions include:
- Travel must occur on dates specified by the Sponsor in connection with the event.
- Airline, routing, and travel arrangements are determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
- Winner is responsible for:
- Ground transportation
- Hotel accommodations (unless otherwise provided)
- Meals
- Travel insurance
- Any other incidental or personal expenses.
If the winner cannot travel on the specified dates, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Sponsor is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, airline schedules, or circumstances beyond its control.
8. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified via the email address provided during entry within five (5) days of the drawing.
The winner must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim the prize.
Failure to respond within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Winner may be required to sign and return:
- Affidavit of eligibility
- Liability release
- Publicity release (where permitted by law)
9. Publicity Rights
By entering the Contest, participants grant the Sponsor the right to use their:
- Name
- City and State
- Submitted birthday message
- Likeness (if applicable)
for promotional, marketing, or publicity purposes related to the Contest and The Universe is Absurd!, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Content Submission Guidelines
Submitted birthday messages must:
- Be original content created by the entrant
- Not infringe upon the rights of any third party
- Not contain offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or inappropriate material
Sponsor reserves the right to remove or disqualify any submission deemed inappropriate or in violation of these rules.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to:
- Cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.
- Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
12. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless:
- FUTURE of SPACE
- Its affiliates, partners, officers, employees, and agents
from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of any prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Technical malfunctions
- Lost or delayed entries
- Unauthorized intervention
- Errors in the administration of the Contest
13. Privacy
Information collected from entrants will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy.
Entrants may receive communications from FUTURE of SPACE related to the Contest or future announcements.
14. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with the prize.
Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize where required by law.
15. Governing Law
The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these rules shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts located within the State of Oregon.
16. Winner List
To request the name of the winner, send a request within 60 days of the Contest end date to:

17. Agreement to Rules
By entering the Contest, participants agree to fully and unconditionally accept these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
