How to Cancel Your Reservation

To cancel, send an email to space2sea@futureofspace.io, including your reservation confirmation number. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving your request.

Cancellation Timeline & Refunds

  • On or Before April 30, 2025: 75% refund of the amount paid, minus the 25% non-refundable deposit.
  • May 1 – July 31, 2025: 50% refund of the amount paid, minus the 25% non-refundable deposit.
  • On or After August 1, 2025: No refunds can be issued due to vendor commitments.

Please note: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. If full payment is not made by the final due date, your reservation may be canceled, and cancellation fees will apply. This policy is subject to change, so check for the latest updates.

Changes to Featured Guests, Ports, or Charter Vessel

Event schedules, Featured Guests lineups, and port stops are subject to change without prior notice. If a vessel change becomes necessary, a comparable vessel of equal standard will be provided to maintain the quality of the experience.

No-Show & After-Departure Cancellations

No refunds are given for no-shows or cancellations once the voyage begins.

When Refunds Aren’t Given

Refunds are not available in the following cases:
  • Missing the voyage for personal reasons (e.g., illness, late arrival).
  • Failing to meet travel document requirements (e.g., passport, visas).

Name Changes & Date Shifts

Changing your name or departure date is considered a cancellation, and the same fees will apply.

Force Majeure

In cases of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or political instability, refunds or credits may be offered depending on the specific situation.

Refund Process

Once we receive your cancellation request, we will send a confirmation within 48 hours. Updates during the process will include:

  1. Confirmation of cancellation.
  2. Approval of your refund.
  3. Notification once your refund is processed.

Refunds are typically processed within 7 days of confirmation. A final email will be sent upon completion.

Refund Payment Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used. If your payment method has changed, notify us immediately. Transaction fees or currency conversion costs are your responsibility.

Travel Documents

You are responsible for ensuring all travel documents (e.g., passport, visas, health certificates) are in order. If you are denied boarding or entry, cancellation charges will apply, and we cannot cover any losses.

Data Privacy

Booking Conditions & Right to Refuse

We may update these conditions at any time and reserve the right to refuse bookings when necessary.

Travel Insurance

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Trusted providers like Allianz, GeoBlue, and Travel Guard offer a range of options. Additionally, some credit cards may offer coverage, so be sure to check with your provider. While we’re committed to delivering an exceptional and seamless experience, being prepared for any unforeseen situations ensures you’re covered before and during your voyage.

Age & Pregnancy Restrictions

  • Passengers beyond 24 weeks of pregnancy are not permitted.
  • Children under 6 are not allowed.
  • Minors under 18 must stay in the same or an adjacent suite with an adult over 21.
  • The legal drinking age for South America departures is 18.

Deposits and Payments

Deposit/Payment Terms

January 4, 2024 – October 18, 2024:  A non-refundable deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total cost is required to secure your reservation. Space2Sea (S2S) must receive full payment within thirty (30) days once the reservation is made to guarantee your spot.

Beginning October 19, 2024: Payment in full for the total cost is required to secure your reservation.

Method of Payment

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made between June 1, 2024, to August 31, 2024, will receive a 50% refund of any amounts paid, less a 25% non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made after September 1, 2024, will not be eligible for a refund due to our commitment to vendors and the challenges of filling spots on short notice.

The Host reserves the right to refuse service to any Participant at its sole discretion, without the obligation to provide an explanation. In the event that the Host cancels the Participant’s reservation, a full refund shall be made within three (3) business days following the cancellation notice. This includes all fees paid, including the deposit.

The Host reserves the right to cancel a Participant’s reservation if they fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined in this Agreement or if their behavior poses a risk to the safety and enjoyment of others.
