The Voyage is organized by FUTURE of SPACE, powered by Crown and Summit, and co-produced by Chris Boshuizen. The ship is the Seabourn Venture, operated by Seabourn Cruise Line, registered in Nassau, Bahamas.
Antarctica’s weather is highly variable and can rapidly change. You should be prepared for a wide range of conditions, including temperatures ranging between -2°C (28.4°F) and 3°C (37.4°F), and strong winds. In December, the sun is visible 24 hours a day.
The key to your packing success will be ‘waterproof’ and ‘layers of clothing’. You can pack light by bringing base layers for the top and bottom for both men and women, easy to add a layer for warmth or remove a layer for cooling.

Yes, weather permitting, we are planning to make multiple landings on the Continent and nearby islands.
See the Itinerary for more details.
The ship has a small but modern basic medical facility staffed by a one (1) Doctor and two (2) Registered Nurses. This facility is equipped to provide medical care for illness or accidents that may arise during the cruise but is not intended to provide ongoing medical treatment. Since the ship is either at sea or in ports where availability of medical facilities and pharmaceutical products may be limited, we suggest you bring adequate supplies of prescription medications and other health-related items.
A Guest must be at least 6 years of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail on voyages to Antarctica or on Expedition Cruises. The Captain and Expedition Leader shall make the final determination regarding whether or not Guests 6 years of age or more may participate in any excursion taking into account weather, sea conditions, and the difficulty of disembarking at each location visited.
While dining and evening events have a smart-casual dress code, practical and warm clothing is recommended for excursions. No need to pack the tuxedo or long dresses. Plan to get dressed up to feel comfortable and celebratory for the evening!
Yes, please contact us with any dietary needs in advance and Seabourn chefs will be happy to accommodate them.
We advise guests to be in good health due to the remote nature of the destination. Please consult with a healthcare professional before booking.
Seabourn Venture is equipped with next-generation Wi-Fi connectivity through SpaceX’s Starlink, the leader in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology. The upgraded technology will provide guests with faster service, greater connectivity, and more reliable Wi-Fi wherever Starlink’s services are available. Wi-Fi onboard is included in the pricing and is generally quite adequate for all guests’ usage when web browsing and sending or retrieving email. Upgraded Wi-Fi service is available for streaming, gaming, and file-sharing for an additional charge.
